TB-500 is an active synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), one of the most abundant proteins in the human body. Its main function is to regulate actin, the majority structural component of the cellular cytoskeleton, which allows it to play a critical role in cell migration, proliferation, and repair.

Molecular characteristics:

• Molecular weight of the active fragment: approximately 889 Da
• Structure: linear 7-amino-acid peptide representing the key functional region
• Plasma half-life: 2 to 3 hours in circulation, with extended biological effect
• Distribution: wide, including muscle, heart, skin, brain, and lymphoid tissue
