DSIP (Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide) is a 9-amino-acid endogenous peptide discovered in 1977 from brain extracts of rabbits induced into deep sleep via electrical stimulation of the thalamus. Its name reflects the characteristic effect documented in the literature: the induction of delta or slow-wave sleep, the most restorative phase of the sleep cycle in research models.
Molecular structure:
Reconstitution: 2 ml of bacteriostatic water in a 10 mg vial. Resulting concentration: 5,000 mcg/ml. As a laboratory volumetric reference, each U-100 graduation corresponds to 50 mcg.
This data is provided solely as a handling and laboratory-bench calculation reference. It does not constitute an administration guideline.
In the research literature, DSIP presents a pharmacological profile described as benign: as an endogenous peptide, studies report no tolerance, dependence, or withdrawal syndrome in the evaluated models. Store lyophilized under refrigeration and, once reconstituted, protected from light.
